This is a nice brainteaser you've made here. It'll definitely add a few more wrinkles to my brain. I think the game would be even better with gamepad support for folks who play on handheld PCs.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still weighing which platforms to release on (targeting end of this year) trying to balance cost and audience reach. A mobile release on iOS is definitely likely — I’ve published on the App Store before, so the process should be smoother this time around.

I’ve been wondering whether this type of game could resonate with desktop players using a handheld controller. What do you think? I did some early research and saw the dev fee is a one-time US$100, which seems reasonable.

It's like playing with a real claw machine, but actually fair

Happy holidays to all and may next year be full of meaningful opportunities!

It's not often that you see a game mix low brow humor, solid platforming mechanics, and festive cheer into something perfect for the holidays. I think it is worth replaying every Christmas season. The only thing missing for me would be gamepad support.

I like this game overall, but the control scheme is somewhat cumbersome for my liking. I'd rather have jump on Z or the up arrow key, and C for the plane shifting mechanic.

I really enjoy the arcade simplicity of this game. Having easily distinguishable shapes means being able to keep with the fast paced action without being overwhelmed by visual clutter. The only thing missing here is gamepad support as a matter of preference for the player.

In the mather of fact i would love to add something like that. Though, there will be still things added to the game - one of them IS a powerup which might actually "needs" the mouse - in which the said gamepad wouldnt be "as good as" playing it with mouse.

Still, love that not only me had controllers in mind and would love to add that (srsly wish i could). ^^

This is pretty good aside from the lack of gamepad support. Can you fix that for the full release?

Ravernt responds:

I will definetly try to add it

I like the fundamental basics of this game, but there isn't much any variety to the base loop to keep things interesting. It would be nice to shoot chickens who can fight back as well as a boss or two. Controller support would be nice as well.

A great game overall, but the lack of gamepad support means that it doesn't feel quite right for me when I have to use the keyboard instead. Is it something you can quickly patch in please?

This is a pretty good demo overall, but I do have a couple nitpicks that bug me a bit.

On gamepad, I would prefer to use the D-pad for menu navigation rather than dragging the cursor with the right analog stick. I also want to be able to interact with the gun rack and other interactive objects with a press of a button, but controller support is somewhat unfinished for now.

Other than that, the demo is fine.
