I really enjoy the arcade simplicity of this game. Having easily distinguishable shapes means being able to keep with the fast paced action without being overwhelmed by visual clutter. The only thing missing here is gamepad support as a matter of preference for the player.

In the mather of fact i would love to add something like that. Though, there will be still things added to the game - one of them IS a powerup which might actually "needs" the mouse - in which the said gamepad wouldnt be "as good as" playing it with mouse.

Still, love that not only me had controllers in mind and would love to add that (srsly wish i could). ^^

This is pretty good aside from the lack of gamepad support. Can you fix that for the full release?

Ravernt responds:

I will definetly try to add it

I like the fundamental basics of this game, but there isn't much any variety to the base loop to keep things interesting. It would be nice to shoot chickens who can fight back as well as a boss or two. Controller support would be nice as well.

A great game overall, but the lack of gamepad support means that it doesn't feel quite right for me when I have to use the keyboard instead. Is it something you can quickly patch in please?

This is a pretty good demo overall, but I do have a couple nitpicks that bug me a bit.

On gamepad, I would prefer to use the D-pad for menu navigation rather than dragging the cursor with the right analog stick. I also want to be able to interact with the gun rack and other interactive objects with a press of a button, but controller support is somewhat unfinished for now.

Other than that, the demo is fine.

I see a lot of potential in this game's concept. A better developed story with more elaborate puzzles could go a long way to make the core experience more engaging. Adding fullscreen and gamepad support on top will make the playing experience even better.

I really enjoy this humble throwback to the flash games of yesteryear. It has that old-school edginess reminiscent of icons like Pico and Eddsworld with some snappy dialogue to make it feel both familiar and fresh.

For gameplay improvements, I would like to see a map feature to make exploration easier when the full game comes out. I would also like the option to change the button prompts for gamepad to PlayStation or Nintendo. Maybe allow for twin stick aiming as well if it doesn't seriously break game balance.

I look forward to seeing this lovely project of yours become something amazing.

While I like the overall concept this game has, the slippery movement makes controlling the cat needlessly tedious and annoying. I would greatly appreciate if this game had keyboard/gamepad input.

It's brain teasers like this that I enjoy so much about web gaming. My only real nitpick is not being able to use the enter command on gamepad, but I'm sure that can quickly be addressed.

A very promising teaser for what may be an excellent game. Do you think a level editor would be feasible for the full game? I want to see what kind of platforming levels the community can come up with.

LeviRamirez responds:

A level editor is likely to happen ;)
